We are well established as a Registered Land Surveyors and Civil Structural Engineering firm based in central western Sydney. Our reputation spans over 40 years and we have completed over 40,000 projects ranging from residential, commercial and public sector developments. We are extremely proud to say that we have played a pivotal role in enhancing the street appeal of many buildings all around Sydney and we’re looking to add to our impressive ‘portfolio’ of completed projects.
Serving the greater Sydney area since 1983, we are currently looking for a Civil Stormwater Engineer to join our team of 40+ professionals on a full time basis.
While we pride ourselves on using some of the latest and best technology and software, it is our people who enable us to complete projects consistently and to the highest standard of excellence our customers expect.

- Organisation and management of projects
- Management of engineering tasks and responsibilities for a timely and professional delivery in line with client requirements
- Analysis and civil/stormwater design that is compliant with the relevant standards and accepted industry best practices
- Designing projects using software such as DRAINS, HEC-RAS, AUTOCAD,CIVIL 3D, TUFLOW and MUSIC (WSUD)
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Liaising with engineers, project managers, and local councils
- Ensuring client billing rates are being invoiced as appropriate
- Adhering to the company's Quality Assurance Policy and Procedures

Mandatory skills, experience and requirements:
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Minimum two years of relevant experience (since graduating) in a consulting engineering office in Sydney in designing and documenting civil/stormwater engineering for medium and high-density residential (multi-level), commercial and industrial projects
- Minimum of two years of experience in designing relevant projects in the Sydney Metropolitan catchment, carrying out site inspections and certification assessment
- Ability to prepare stormwater designs, Civil design, Flood study analysis and associated documentation
- Competency in the use of DRAINS, HEC-RAS TUFLOW and MUSIC (WSUD), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office packages
- A desire to continue your career in civil stormwater and flooding related analysis and design
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business with stakeholders and clients
- Ability to manage deadlines and projects effectively
- Subdivision and Road design experience will be viewed as an advantage
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
