John Donovan
Business Director and Principal Structural Engineer
John Donovan is Business Director and Principal Structural Engineer. He is focused on providing a comprehensive level of services to clients, including inspection and reporting on the structural adequacy of existing buildings, and structural design and assessment of all types of low-rise residential structures and buildings.
Malcolm Cork
Senior Registered Surveyor
Malcolm Cork is Donovan Associates’ Senior Surveyor. Over the past 20 years, he has been managing our field teams along with subdivision and strata subdivision projects for clients ranging from government departments, project builders, and small developers in and around the greater Sydney area.
Ross McIntyre
Survey Manager, All-Rounder
Ross McIntyre is Donovan Associates’ Survey Manager. He is the go-to expert for timely and relevant advice on engineering software technology. He is highly proficient with the in-house written surveying software and provides ongoing and invaluable support to the IT department.
Enock Karimazondo
Senior Structural Engineer
Enock has a wealth of experience with a main focus in structural engineering. He started his career in Zimbabwe and moved on to South Africa where he gained considerable experience within the mining consultancy industry as a Structural Engineer. Since beginning of 2017, Enock has been involved in a number of residential and industrial projects in NSW, Australia. He is passionate about his work.As an ambitious and capable engineer, He has gained expertise in almost every corner of the construction profession .
Melanie Liao
Financial Controller
Melanie holds high professional standards,she is business solution orientated, with strong execution skills and embrace changes. She has an extensive insight in the financial field, her key accounting and financial competencies include, but are not limited to, maintaining financial reports, managing budget, risk assessments and business strategy reviews. Her job is to ensure Managing director and board’s decisions are financially sound, both in regards to resources available, and regulatory compliance.She is an accomplished communicator, with excellent organizational, decision making, and time management skills.

Paul Dinh
Senior Civil Engineer
Paul is a Senior Civil Engineer, with specialisation in flood modelling and geospatial information systems.His talents lie particulary with software based solutions and modelling, constantly striving to learn and apply a multitude of engineering software to both large scale and boutique projects.
Years of experience in the field have refined his eye for details, engineering intuition , as well as his connections in the engineering field. Paul has worked on various projects within the multitude of Council’s in NSW, in both the public and private sector, and liaises with both on a day-to-day basis.
As the lead flood modeller, Paul excels at identifying potential development issues at a glance based on his years of experience, as well as providing solutions which have been adopted throughout the state.
