Get Geo-Referenced High Altitude Aerial Photography and Videography Site Inspections with Full 3D Terrain Mapping

Our aerial video and still photographic services are ideal for:
  • Industrial inspections of bridges, buildings, and large civil engineering structures
  • Agricultural assessments and extensive large terrain 3D mapping
  • Time lapse photography and videography of project evolution and development to enhance sales and maximise marketing impacts.

Register your interest for a “Terrainoscopy” diagnostic to determine if this breakthrough Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) surveying technology can be used to save you time, money, and hassle on your current or upcoming project(s)

WHY YOU SHOULD TALK TO US
During your diagnostic consultation, we will quickly determine if our qualified engineers, using the latest aviation technology, can be leveraged to save you money, capture the data, photos and videos you require at a beneficial cost to existing traditional methods.

If you’re looking to inspect large buildings, structures, and geographically expansive locations, we probably can carry out safer and more cost-effective data capture.

It’s not because we’re a team of registered surveyors and civil and structural engineers with over 40+ years of experience. It’s because of the cutting edge technology we possess to provide you with the latest and greatest solutions.
The only real question is:

Is your project compatible to leverage a fully digital data Terrainoscopy?

Not sure? Here’s a quick snapshot of what we can offer you:
  • We use certified UAV operators and professional surveyors who are Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) certified
  • We can inspect practically anything of any size
  • We offer you steady and interactive high-resolution 360° aerial still photography, aerial videography, as well as aerial survey and mapping
  • Our data exports to all popular CAD software including AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit, and MicroStation
  • We can provide you a full 3D web-based Point Cloud so you can access your data anywhere – from any smart mobile device
  • Our technology will not disturb your current operations
  • Our geo-referenced 3D models can be used in inspections, town planning, excavation, road design, and stormwater design studies
  • Our photography and videography can be used for area studies, map revisions, and GIS purposes
  • We can predefine the take-off point, flight path, and exact landing location to create time-lapsed videos of your project over several days, weeks, months, or even years!

ARE YOU CURRENTLY PAYING AN ARM AND A LEG
FOR STRUCTURE AND BUILDING INSPECTIONS?

As you well know, traditional data capture methods are costly and time-consuming. Moreover, it gets worse when you need to perform regular checks.

Your options?

You can hire a specialised photogrammetric aircraft. Aerial photogrammetry can be costly, and most airplanes cannot fly low enough to collect the accurate data points that we are capable of capturing for a fraction of the cost.

You can also hire a bunch of engineers, shut down the site for–depending on the scope of project–a week, or longer, and then wait until the data gets collected.

Alternatively, you could hire a hobby drone operator, maybe the teenager next door. However, that’s like asking your next-door neighbour with a toolbox to build your house.

What makes us different is that, first and foremost, we’re registered and qualified civil and structural engineers. Since we have been around for over forty years, we know what it’s like having to capture lots of data points across a challenging landscape or structure.

Now with the advent of new technology, it means we can do our job faster, giving you the confidence knowing that only qualified and experienced engineers are behind the wheel, so-to-speak.

By acquiring geo-referenced digital aerial images, with resolutions up to 1.5 cm (0.6 in) per pixel, we can gather millions of data points in a single flight while we also capture video at the same time!

Because we use precise GPS technology that can be scheduled to fly over specific flight paths, we can capture the imagery or footage you need for your progress reports. We traverse the same flight path again and again as often as you like creating time-lapse photo/videography so you can see how a piece of land or structure is developing or has developed over time.

We also provide images with GPS details making site inspections easier and more precise.

For contour mapping, we use control points set by RTK GPS, for super accurate data capture. For example, for a one 4ha parcel of land, we can easily get the accuracy of a horizontal, approximately circular error at 0.028m (95% CI) and vertical accuracy at 0.039m (95% CI).

Should you require your data to be even more accurate, we can do that by simply increasing the number of ground control points. This is something we can discuss during your initial diagnostic assessment.

Aerial time-lapse reporting for engineering and structural purposes

Get project progress reports on large infrastructure projects. We will custom design a geo-referenced flight path ideally before the commencement of construction, or during the construction process, so you can easily monitor and assess the development of your project with specific, pre-defined areas of interest that will be tracked with precision (from any height, angle, or orientation).

Surveying and mapping services
  • Geo-referenced Ortho-mosaics
  • Photogrammetric Applications
  • Multispectral imagery
  • Point Cloud Generation
  • DTMs
  • Volumetric calculations
  • Contour maps

Aerial Inspections
We can perform infrastructure safety inspections to help you stay on track with your project. Our technology is equipped with HD cameras and transmitters to allow for real-time analysis of data. Our services also cover industrial inspections, aerial photography, agricultural assessments and research, 3D terrain mapping, and a host of other uses.

Farming Industry
If you’re a farmer, then our UAV services can show you if your irrigation systems are working and even how your plants are growing. Farms are often pretty big, so the mobility and agility of our aerial data capture technology will save you precious time and money. Also, with our surveying knowledge and experience, we can provide you with a complete usage map from the farm for later analyses, such as the proportion of products, and overview of various outcomes.

How we perform the
Digital Data Terrainoscopy:

Mission planning
  • Choose/import base map
  • Highlight coverage area and set the desired ground sampling distance
  • Set image overlap, safe take-off, and landing zone

Setting of on-site GCPs
  • Add GPS stations on site for absolute X, Y, Z accuracy (3cm to 5cm)

Flight
  • Import onboard SD card images and flight log and geo-referencing
  • Quickly and easily generate Quality Reports – simply export the data, type your notes, and you should be good to go! Easy.

Generation of Orth photo and 3D point clouds
  • Using post-flight photogrammetry software
  • Edit to create DTM if required

Smart data capture
  • Full HD footage (video and photography)
  • Prepare Point Cloud so you can access the data from your office computer, laptop or Smartphone
  • Final report and deliverables you can upload to your software
